About IBS FODMAP Diet

What is IBS FODMAP Diet?

IBS FODMAP Diet is a free, comprehensive FODMAP food database containing over 1,670 foods with detailed FODMAP ratings, safe serving sizes, FODMAP breakdowns, and nutritional information. Our goal is to make FODMAP information accessible and easy to use for everyone.

Who is this for?

This database is designed for people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), and other functional digestive conditions who follow or are considering a low FODMAP diet. It is also a useful resource for dietitians, nutritionists, and healthcare professionals who advise patients on FODMAP dietary management.

Our data sources

The FODMAP ratings and serving size information in our database are based on data from Monash University, the leading institution in FODMAP research. Monash University developed the low FODMAP diet and maintains the most comprehensive laboratory-tested FODMAP database in the world. We also reference other peer-reviewed FODMAP research to ensure accuracy.

How to use the database

You can search our food database by name, browse by category, or filter by FODMAP rating. Each food page provides:

  • FODMAP rating (low, moderate, or high)
  • Safe serving sizes with gram measurements
  • Individual FODMAP type breakdown (fructose, lactose, fructans, GOS, sorbitol, mannitol)
  • Nutritional information per 100g
