Corrections Policy and Notice

Accuracy reports are welcome. We document material corrections and prioritize issues that could affect health decisions.

How to report an issue

Send the food URL, the field in question, and supporting evidence through the contact page. Do not include private medical information.

What happens next

We reproduce the issue, compare it with the available source export and public authority material, correct verified errors, update the review date where appropriate, and keep structured data aligned with visible content.

Energy-unit correction

On September 4, 2026, we corrected a systemic display error in which source energy values stored in kilojoules were labeled as kilocalories. Energy is now labeled in kJ with a derived kcal value, and implausible source outliers are suppressed. Users who relied on older energy values should consult an authoritative nutrition source or clinician.
